Now as a graduate, Gabe currently works for Samaritan's Purse in Liberia and spent March-May 2020 in New York City serving at the Central Park Emergency Field Hospital with Samaritan's Purse. In college, Gabe had no idea what he wanted to do and even went through freshman and first semester of sophomore year as an engineering major. Gabe realizes now that by living your very best life, passions arise and opportunities will present themselves to you. Follow those passions, say yes to the opportunities, and give God the glory!

What have you learned in this current season of your work that will fuel your hope for the future?

In my current season of work I have learned about the importance and the challenges of diversity. As an expatriate living in Africa, I have noticed how our personal culture has trained us overtime to react and respond in specific ways to any situation that comes up. It is my hope for the future that there is an increase in loving your neighbor as yourself around the world and diversity in the workplace is fuel for that hope.
