The Department of Athletic Facilities Maintenance is responsible for the care and preservation of all athletic playing surfaces and facilities. We specialize in turf care, building and equipment upkeep, and game day preparations.
The department provides the following services:
- Daily surface preparation for baseball infield dirt, mounds and home plate
- Turf disease and pest management
- Irrigation, design, and maintenance including regular irrigation system audits
- Edging, fertilization, field striping, and mowing
- Weed abatement
- Oversee disposal of green waste
- Preventative maintenance
- Sodding replacement of natural turf areas as needed, overseeding
- Trimming of trees and shrubs
