Data science uses mathematics, statistics, and computing techniques to make meaning from large collections of data. Data science students develop their knowledge of statistics, mathematical modeling, databases, data management, computer programming and more. With a Data Science B.S., you will gain the broad background that is often required for defense, security, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as applied sciences. This program is also ideal for students who plan to become actuaries, and ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ’s curriculum is designed to meet several certification requirements of the Society of Actuaries.
