Joy Balta ALI

The Anatomy Learning Institute at ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ is always looking for opportunities to give back and share its spaces and resources with the communities around us.

We’ve partnered with high schools, AP classes, and other local groups to empower the next generation of students and medical professionals to receive invaluable hands-on experience in anatomy lab spaces. Learners encounter training in anatomy through body donor labs, virtual reality, and other technology in the lab space.

EXPLORE ANATOMY

We work with teachers to bring high school classes to our learning spaces. Young learners will gain an appreciation of the complexity of the human body, particularly within the unique opportunity to study body donors. They’ll also have hands-on learning with plastic models, specimens, and more to reinforce key concepts.

Young learners will also get the opportunity to study with ALI graduate students from different backgrounds to learn about a variety of professions within healthcare — building valuable connections, support, and a passion for education.

If you’re interested in more information or connecting with us to have your class within our learning space, please contact us at anatomy@pointloma.edu.
